Painting Holidays South France with Bed and Breakfast
Our next course will be September 2008 - dates to be confirmed.
We are running a sketching and watercolour painting course in and around the beautiful Tarn area. It will be run by an English artist and will include working either outdoors on field trips to carefully chosen, picturesque sites in the area, around our village, or within our grounds. Both beginners and more experienced artists are welcome.
What's included on our residential course
- A double bedroom with en-suite facilities
- 3 half-days tuition out and around the local area
- A full day out about on location - painting in the morning, lunch in local restaurant, trip to museum
- French-style breakfast daily
- Evening meals with wine and coffee
- Light lunches - at Okalani or picnic on location
- All art tuition, advice and guidance
- Transport to all location work, if required
- Morning / afternoon refreshments available if on-site
- Small group - maximum 6 people
Please note: Students are expected to supply their own materials to work with, but a limited selection will be available for hire or purchase on-site. Other materials may be purchased at an Artists Supplies outlet nearby in Castres.
Transport to and from Okalani and for your free time is not included in the price and it is recommended that you hire a car as our village does not have public transport.
Costs per week:
Single occupancy (1 artist/student): 700 euros in a double room with ensuite bathroom
There is a reduction for non painting friends.
