Okalani is only a 90 minute drive away from the ski slopes in the French Pyrenees.
One of the largest ski resorts is Formigueres which is an authentic mountain village with houses made from local stone, it is situated at an altitude of 1500 metres and its climate benefits from the Mediterranean influence. It is within Catalunya and you can discover the gastronomic products and the local artisans of the Catalan country.
Skiing at Formigueres - There are 17 pistes, 1 black, 7 red, 6 blue and 3 green.Ski lifts, snow park and a ski school.
During the skiing season we can arrange drop off and pick up for you from Okalani. You can choose whether you want to make your whole holiday a skiing holiday or maybe you just want to ski a couple of times in a week and explore other activities that are on offer throughout this area of France. Or maybe only part of your family want to ski, we can arrange transport and picnic lunches for the skiers and the rest of family can stay at Okalani. On arrival back from the ski slopes a warming evening meal will be waiting for the tired and hungry skiers.
